I'd rather play the slots....

Las Vegas is an interesting city. Each time I visit, something unusual happens.

Two years ago, the penny slot machine I sat at most of the trip gave me one point for every dime played, instead of every $10. This resulted in what has now been three trips on the house and $250 in cash in my pocket (to date).

Last year was the first vacation I've taken as an adult with my sister. Fun while it was, I'm used to getting the lion's share of attention....

This year had two unique events. First was the third largest 24-hour period of rain in the history of Vegas. Then, to add to my Vegas luck, I actually got hit on...by a gay homeless man.

Yes, I said a gay homeless man.

Trust me on this one. He said he had been wearing the same shirt for a week. It really could walk on its own. He also said I had the most beautiful hair. And yes, he DID say he was gay...and homeless.

The best I can add is that I am now home...and what happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas...and no, nothing HAPPENED.
